Hetty growled when the young man next to her started to go immaterial again. "I said stop that!"

Darien shook his arm to release the quicksilver. "Sorry, repeated near death experiences do that to me. And watch out for that telephone wire!" He felt the quicksilver cover his legs as the short woman pulled up on the yoke and sent them spiralling upward.

"I'd have more focus if you didn't keep disappearing on me."

Based on his experiences of the last 48 hours, Darien decided not to point out that her flying might be better if she were taller. Or hadn't lost her glasses in the explosion. Or if their original pilot hadn't turned out to be a turncoat. One thing he knew for sure, he was going to tell the Official that he was never, ever doing a joint operation with NCIS ever again!

Darien decided that he might not quicksilver so much if he stopped looking out the window, and instead turned to the back of the biplane to check on the unconscious Agent secured to one of the heavier shipping containers. "Aw, crap."

The man he was watching was frantically motioning for him to remain silent, but he didn't know how Hetty never let go of a clue. "Fawkes?"

"Uh, did you stop and pick up any hitchhikers when I was distracted by sudden death?" Hetty turned to see what he was talking about, resulting in the biplane turning, and Darien clinging to his seat for dear life as said hitchhiker fell against the opposite side of the plane.

"Hetty!"

"What, oh-" and like that, the plane leveled off, and Darien resumed breathing. However, when he looked back, he saw that the man had fully recovered and assumed a fighting stance. "Darien, visibility may mean that our new friend doesn't immediately try to kill us."

"Crap." Visible once again, he held up his hands in a placating manner. "Easy there fellow. Just two federal-" at Hetty disgusted snort, he amended his description, "NCIS agents headed back to headquarters. Whatever, or however, you got here, you don't want to cause any more trouble by making it a federal offense." He's surprised that Hetty doesn't protest the fact that he included himself as an NCIS agent. He hopes that doesn't mean she's going to try to recruit him.

The young man looks back and forth between Darien, and well the back of Hetty's seat. "Henrietta Lange?"

Darien yelped again when the plane followed the movement of Hetty's body as she reassessed their guest. "Winchester? Now I know we're in trouble."

Darien closed his eyes, sank down in his seat, and began to pray that he made it safely back to Hobbes and the Keeper.

note: sorry, azuremonkey, I didn't quite see the place to add in time travel to the mix. Hope you enjoyed it anyways.

Darien!! And John! And Henrietta Lange is played by Linda Hunt (if I'm not mistaken) and I adore her. This is an awesome pairing. :D

I love it! But why was Darien loaned out to NCIS? And why are they on a plane? And how does John know Hetty? And does Darien get back to the Keep in one piece These are things I MUST know!!

(No worries about the time travel.)
