Well, the reconnection fee is taken off. Early termination fee that could apply if I decide to switch companies is one hundred fifty dollars. Which, if I can determine if I have a two year contract, would totally be worth it.
Only problem, the online service center that lists my start subscription date of April 2005 refuses to list an expiration date. Going to go through my emails to determine if I can figure out the 1 vs 2 year contract thing myself. Otherwise, I'll be doing another fun call to cingular. :P
Turns out that one of my friends had an overly exciting weekend. She went out to West Virginia for a weekend of camping and stuff to get away from it all. As she drove away from a set of horse stable to head out to the campgrounds, the transmission of her 3 yr old Dodge Neon (that has less than 50K miles on said transmission since she's had to have it replaced once after an accident) fell out of her car. Since that area of WV has no cell phone reception (yes, all those xfiles stories with no cell reception are apparently still relevant), she got to have fun hitchiking. :P Fun Fun.
Okay, off to actually concentrate on some work since I had to wait for an hour at the post office to find out that the certified letter I had waiting for me was simply the "official" notification of the meeting that occured on Oct 3 about the condo-ificiation. *growls*
