Okay...this is really wierd. Every night since I got the notice that the building had been bought out by the condo apartment, the hot water at night has either been tepid or just not there.
Which, yes, the hot water has been known to go out on occassion. But you have to understand, the hot water is never LESS than scalding unless it's out. So this morning's miraculous recovery after the maintenance man came makes me suspicious now that it took 10 minutes for the water to get to tepid while I was washing dishes.
I think that they have started turning off the boiler at night to save money---which would suck for anyone who works nights. Though honestly, I'd be appreciative if they did it in the winter at least so my apartment was cooler (though the ice water would be bad).
