Okay...I'm now remember how painful life was back in the days of 56k internet in this apartment (wow...hard to believe I've only had broadband for maybe a year and a half now...how easy it is to believe that the status quo has been forever)

The good news is that after digging though the morning, my verizon cd was found in the last place I looked. So now I just have to see if i can remember how the hell to set up the wireless modem. And wouldn't you know it, I almost am certain I've long since deleted those instructions. Course, now we know why all this has happened.

*whines*

But first, work out to work out the kinks from sitting on the bed. Then...umm, it's going to be a competition between doing my abstract, cleaning, and fixing the internet. I'm thinking I'm going to tell myself that I MUST DO the first two in order to get the final reward.

So umm...yeah, i'll be ready for some laughs later tonite poisontaster. *wink wink*

Oh, and yes, I've abandoned plans to reformat my harddrive as of yet as I realize that I've never gotten my ms xp office discs back from my friend. Or I hope that's why I can't find them and not that they are buried somewhere.

I'm slowly turning into my OCD mother...I'll volunteer to help!

I've even started cleaning the monitors and phones of my coworkers when they go to lunch. It's terrible! Of course, being on a construction site, there is just an INSANE amount of dust on everything

Course, I know half of it is the fact that brian is as much of a neat freak as you all....so I'm embarrassed..but until recently, embarrassment wasn't enough to give me energy to do anything.

And now...now the mess is firmly entrenched and I'm almost at a loss other than "throw it all out and burn the place down".

or maybe that's my feelings for philly bleeding over into my apartment??

I will never admit this to anyone, and if you rat me out, I'll deny it, but I'm DYING to do some serious cleaning. My roommate is a total slob & our level of 'compromise' about the cleanliness is driving me slowly mad!
