Wow, well, so far this mini-series is shaping up much better than expected. Very Gladiator like through the first two episodes...looks like the next couple are going to switch to a more Nero-ish theme.

Still, pretty good writing for Network historical miniseries...not that I'm saying the history is accurate, cause quiet frankly my ancient civ classes were over 10 years ago. But they make it entertaining nonetheless. Plus, Tyrannus (a gladiator w/ an extremely hokey name, poor guy)'s--Jonathan Cake--shirt gets cut and ripped off at least twice an episode. *drools*

Whats this? Good historical television? Where? *looks around madly* When and where? Now that I have cable (well for 2 months anyway) I'm looking forward to actually watching all these shows you guys squee about :)
