I'm having to fight with my muse and my brain isn't cooperating either.

What is the place referred to that a sniper chooses to use as his position to shoot? I keep thinking of a hunter's tree stand but I don't think that's it and perch seems too easy. Anyone?

:LOL: Well, I got into it after watching and reading The Bourne Identity. Plus they had this special on The Learning Channel(Forensics specials or was it on Court TV? And since I wrote a character that was supposed be an assassin/mercenary type, it seemed like something the character would know. (Anaya, or even River, Jayne etc. )

Tom McRae. That's it. I've checked all the online sites I know and about the only place I can get it is if I give in and download microsoft's evil media rights manager which would mean I have limited times to burn/transfer it etc. Which I refuse to do out of principle. If I but it, I buy it dangit!

Well, if you're a hunter waiting for prey, I'm pretty sure it's called a "blind". But as for a sniper specifically... um...

A nest? A prepared position? *shrugs helplessly* Go watch "Enemy at the Gates" or "Band of Brothers". That's bound to have some good jargon. :)

Yeah, but it's all the way out at Bensalem.

And I've pretty much decided I don't want to see it till Sept. Too scared of let-down right now and really can't be bothered by too many bunnies as I need to focus on work.
