august is as hot as it gets here too. First year I was here it was fine--it was 90ish. Since then it's barely gotten above 85. That's not summer gorrammit. that's spring!
I'm jealous. I want the cold stormy weather back. Out here on the west coast it's 90 and the humidity's noticeable enough so that the air feels like hot velvet. :(
Not to mention I can't sleep when it stays hot through 2 a.m. Blaaaah.
see, i'm of the opinion that a/c is needed no matter where you live for those humid days;) But man...90...yep, definitely trying for the west coast when i'm done here --- more sun and less cold weather.
Whereas for me, having grown up in heat and sun and only the occasional clouds, the wind and inclement weather found in San Francisco is my ideal climate. Fifteen years of bright hot sunny weather with little in the way of variation makes one long for fog and rain and breezes. :)
