Mm..had a good lunch and a nice relaxing day out in Delaware. Got a lot of little things I've been needing --- weighted bar for exercises since my little gym in this apartment complex is the only one I've ever seen without bar-bells. And dumbells are just a little too risky for back exercises. Way too easy to pull things. Not too expensive and I think I can handle the 15 lb one I got w/out too much problem--will just be very low rep for a bit.
Also, finally broke down and bought a new hair brush. The one I bought a few months ago turned out to be too wide bristled for my hair --- just no good at "holding" hair while blowdrying it. :P I hate changing hair lenghts...it's so expensive to buy all the long hair crap again!! I still have to find hair doodads as I only have one clip I like to use and even that one is problematic if my head hurts. And scrunchies are just soo....meehh. Also have to figure out if I still have anything fancy to use for the wedding i have to go to.
And omg..I'm so disgusted. Had to, I mean had to, buy some more panties. I've always been getting the jockey cotton ones because they last about 3x as long as Fruit of the Loom or Hanes from Target. So, they're 6 bucks a pair--if they last 2 yrs, then I don't mind. Except I took them out of the box so I could put them in the laundry...and they are that crap ass cotton crap!! I mean, really really thin, scratchy material even if it is 100% cotton. So now I also have to hope and pray that this isn't the same crap ass cotton that has been making it so that I can't wear any new cotton tshirts that I've bought in the last 6 months. Every time I wear them, I start to itch godawfully the second I start to sweat. Not good for underwear. Siiigh. And I mean, I don't think there is any higher quality cotton underwear than jockey so I don't know what the hell I'm going to do if that's the case. grrrrr.
Also found a grammar book that answers some of the questions I've been having that I kept getting too frustrated to hunt for the answer on the web. I don' t think it covers the verb tense agreement issue at all, but oh well. Answering some of the questions is better than none I suppose. *sigh*
And mmm...bought some Turkey Hill Philadelphia Homestyle chocolate Ice Cream since they actually had it at Genardi's. (that stuff becomes impossible to find once summer really hits). It's sooo good. I really don't understand why any company even bothers to put corn syrup and crap in their ice cream. The basic recipe of milk sugar and flavor is soooo much better!!
