It's not much, but it's something....
Aug. 21st, 2011 05:49 pmThe thunder and lightning (and rain) stopped just long enough for us to play our soccer game (pretty sure the one after us should be called on account of lightning. Or at least post-poned).
It was ugly. We lost (but did manage to score twice. 1 of which I managed to assist on. about the only clean play I made the entire game).
Only true accomplishment was not vomiting on the field. I knew I was out of shape, but I severely underestimated it....Not to mention this was not helped by playing 6-6. Granted, they pulled the goals in some, but the field was still just as wide. I've also somehow managed to forget how to pass with my left foot.
Hopefully the tweak in my right quad/groin is just a tweak and won't spasm on the driving I have to do tomorrow (going up to the client).
I also should seriously start going and doing some biking or something to help out getting my cardio up.
