Oh windows......

Sigh, I can't remember if this happened before installing itunes or not, but me and windows media player are having...issues. It's stopped importing new things into the media library. And when I do it manually, it doesn't keep them there - it just disappears. At first w/ Mumford and Sons I thought it was possibly weird electronic security on the files, especially since I thought it happened after importing it to itunes. But no, it happens with ripped CDs that most definitely do not have security on them given they are B sides distributed by the artist

Looking online it looks like I get to go poke around some internal registry files to rebuild the WMP library from scratch. *growls*

I'd be willing to welcome our skynet overlords if it meant my computer programs would operate logically and efficiently without fun little "features" designed to suck hours of my life away. *yes I'm still bitter about my fight with word and work referencing program to reference a 2 page document on Tuesday*
