Okay, in order to leave a comment, I caved and got a vox account. Not sure what I'm going to do with it, though I suppose linking to my fic recs and such might be a good thing so they're all in one place. Anyway, "neighborhood" away if you like

A few random things...
Mar. 24th, 2007 02:25 pmWell, my landlord confirmed that I can stay through July at the same rent I'm currently paying (which is cool). So this should provide incentive for me to work REALLY hard so I can make sure that either I'm done, or all but done, so I can move someplace else when that's through. *crosses fingers* She and her husband haven't decided yet if I can option for August or anything if I need to.
I did after all end up linking to my many places that my fanfiction recs are stored here on LJ over at my vox. Same username there if you are interested. And I begin to wonder if LJ actually did delete any of the tags I told it to when I tried to clean things up. At least, it doesn't look like it did on this account, it worked well enough at frogs_fics.
B and I are going to see the Kixx, philly's pro indoor soccer team, play tonight. Actually, in a couple of hours :) I should get ready. I'm pretty excited because I miss soccer and I've always liked indoor better than outdoor (at least since I was 12 when I got introduced to indoor finally). However, I've never seen a pro team play it. I have seen adult rec teams play and wow. It was rough enough when it was just teen girls. So i'm interested to see the pro version. (and a little annoyed I haven't gone and done it earlier).
Spring cleaning spring cleaning. I really need to do this. I've started on it some, but it's going to take a while. but it has to be done. I should also take apart the broken fan so I can force B to take it to dispose of at his building (and potentially buy a new one). I am happy to report that they've COMPLETELY turned off the heat. Ahh, how I love the first official day of spring. As a result, my sinuses have gone completely to baseline. Now I remember why I thought I could manage to get off my decongestant if not my allergy medicine before I leave this city.

Mar. 24th, 2007 10:06 pmYou guys bumped Sweet Charity all the way up to $9000 (US) while I was gone?? omg. wow.
Soccer game was made of awesome. MUCH better than the hockey game -- assumedly because I don't think it was televised, or if it was, they were much better about letting them play for more than five minutes at a time and the commercial breaks were MUCH shorter.
That said, I wasn't too impressed by the skill of most of the professional indoor soccer players...which I guess makes sense -- the best are off playing here in the pros and the absolute greats are overseas. That or I grew up in a town with a lot of wicked talented players.
I'd say more, but my tummy is currently trying to run a marathon or something without me. All the muscles in it started cramping up shortly after we sat down to eat dinner and haven't really let up. Time wise, it wasn't allergies, so I"m really hoping that I didn't keep my turkey chili one day too long that I ate this afternoon and made myself sick that way. Because really, food poisoning twice in my life was more than enough! Never again, or at the least, wait another twenty years please.
Going off to lay flat since that's what oddly feel the best.
