Honestly, it was pretty, oh so very pretty. But it was also very obviously made for the video game generation. It really did feel like I was watching someone play God of War or something. I honestly think I felt like I got more bang for my buck out of Reno: Miami. That said, there's never anything bad about a movie in which the women are actually wearing more clothes than the men for the most part, IMO.

More on 300 with possible spoilers. )

Pretty, but if you want story, I think you'd better go to Terabithia (though I haven't seen that one. Just saying.).

Also, WB----there is no long any reason for ANYONE to see your movie Knocked Up other than to try to see Alan Tudyk have more screen time. Seriously, when will ad departments learn to NOT tell audiences the entire story during the five minute preview. Gah. STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID.

I'd also like to know exactly when the Vikings encountered the samauri sword techniques that are shown in the Pathfinder preview. Also how someone teaches themselves to use a sword like that in the absence of anyone else who uses one. *rolls eyes*

Friday's Fic has expanded the fandoms it accepts.

It's now accepting stories for Supernatural as well as the other normal (or what were normal) Sci Fi Friday. This is a well done archive that makes uploading easy, IMO. Definitely worth making use of.

Why you should read:
I'm almost crying as I type this. I've been stunned as I've gone back and gotten reacquainted with [livejournal.com profile] sarahetc’s writing at how good it is. I had totally forgotten how much of the show’s language she had made her own and how well she understands the characters. This piece truly demonstrates her prowess as well as providing a sharp conclusion to the ‘Verse we all know and love. Go, read, comment!
