I will not get sick days before I'm stuck on a cross country plane flight to a town I know nothing about. I will not. Even though people keep hacking up germ laden lungs all over the place. I won't.
*briefly considers taping hepa filters to my face* Seriously folks, I've already had TWO colds this winter. That is my quota.
The cafeteria had no eggs today because they apparently did a piss poor ordering job since they're doing their "Mardi Gras" day tomorrow. Which means my lunch was very very very small. I have soup to wolf down during lab meeting so I don't screw up my experiment (more than I already have), but yeah, not adding to the whole "healthy" vibe here. I also confused orange blossom white tea for apple blossom white tea....and really, I'm not a huge fan of the taste of orange. Just, not. Oh well, for 17 bucks, I'm out of luck (yes, I'm a tea snob).
I did sleep, without therapy level disturbing dreams. And it wasn't hot in my apartment last night thanks to the 20+mile an hour west wind...which is good because the fan I keep by my open window died a sad death on saturday (I had no involvement, the motor burned out. Old age this time, not fan-icide). Of course, I have to manage to get rid of this fan before I have space for a new one....which is easier said than done since the building management doesn't allow us to put "large" objects in our trash room anymore. And send out letters looking for rats when someone does. And getting a new fan is probably unwise anyway until I know what will happen post May with my living situation. Sigh.
