Nov. 29th, 2006 12:05 pmOkay, I try to not be all stick in the mud and adapt to things. But I'm really tired of email interfaces changing. I hated it when hotmail changed and was one of the reasons I dropped. Now yahell is changing all over the place (and completely spazzing out on me). I may make the final jump over to my gmail accounts and just write that off as well. I mean, gmail does alter things now and again, but they do make an effort to make the feel similar, IMO.

Nov. 29th, 2006 04:11 pmIraqi PM slaps down Bush
So, yesterday there was a memo that was leaked that listed things the Iraqi PM should do to stabilize his country. Supposedly, he rewrote for what Bush should do for America and released it.
I honestly can't tell if this is real or not. Either way, it's hilarious. And so sadly true.

And once again, Bush firmly tells women what he really thinks of them.
Highlights: Bush has appointed Mary Beth Buchanan to head the Office on Violence Against Women
I feel like he (and by he, I mean his handlers) have seen the writing on the wall and believe there's no way they'll win the presidency in 2008. So they figure they will insert their own into EVERY nook and cranny so that their agenda is carried out while the new leadership focuses on fixing the appointees to the big name offices first.
On a different note, reality can stop imitating Tom Clancy novels any day now. Though I guess I should be happy it's not imitating Crichton novels *knocks on wood*. Still, the whole polonium thing is beyond interesting (and sad). Just wow.
Highlights: Bush has appointed Mary Beth Buchanan to head the Office on Violence Against Women
- She spent 12 million dollars on Operation Pipe Dreams -- taking down 55 people for selling bongs. This included actor Tommy Chong
- She’s an anti-obscenity crusader
- Worse, prosecuting people for written stories on the internet and going after any and all porn.
