Well, it isn't much, but it's lifted my mood a tad --- My Hero, season 1, finally is available in the US and is shipping to me today from amazon.

work actually went okay *crosses fingers---haven't actually looked at the data yet*, but I think I'm going to stay in tomorrow proactively to keep my weekend from imploding.

On the way home from work, halfway home to be exact, I got a nosebleed. Now then, this isn't exactly uncommon at the onset of winter, though I do tend to rather get them in the mornings rather than the nights as a rule (unless of course I eat really spicy Indian food and embarrass the hell out of B in the process). And usually I have a thing of kleenexes, just in case. Except this time I didn't because I haven't had one in so long and I get used to taking it for granted that I do have kleenexes. (and no, I didn't have anything else absorbent either other than the cloth I was wearing - which included a white windbreaker btw - I checked).

So I got to walk 8 blocks holding my head back and sniffing like crazy while walking as fast as I could. I did stop a woman on a bike who had a backpack to see if she might have had kleenexes, but she was the only real option I saw at 8pm. She didn't (and the resulting tilting head down to look her in the eye resulted in well... my hand got to wipe a big red spot on my jeans. But my coat appears clean). So I progressed home and the one piece of luck I've had this weekend is that it didn't decide to start pouring until I get home. Because trust me, I rarely have a 'little' nosebleed. Usually after ten minutes, friends, parents of friends, dorm mothers, and boyfriends are all offering to take me to the hospital. And my dad still brings up the suggestion of cauterizing which earns him very severe glares from me because nothing hot and pointy is going any any of my orifices, thank you very much.

Anyway, it stopped relatively rapidly though all the fast walking probably didn't help in that department. But yeah, after that, I think I'll stick around the apartment. less way for me to hurt myself and everything available to treat myself if I do. *nods* Though I would like to go workout. We'll see which side of bed I get up on in the morning and if I break any toes doing so (true story, but for later).
