okay, this changing which card all my bills go to stuff is a major pain in the ass. Exactly why does verizon think it's a good idea to have their service entirely automated so that people freak out when told "it will take one to two billing cycles for this to take effect"?? Caused me to have to call back and do it all over again since I didn't confirm the first time when I freaked about it. And I had to call the main number to get the process explained because I wasn't going to owe a late fee again.
god, now I know why services like mycheckfree.com and the online banking are so much preferable. at least then you can control what you pay with month to month in case anything happens. Though yeah, hacking problems as well, but given how often idiots are losing laptops w/ financial info on them, that almost seems minor nowadays.
But I think I have everything changed. *crosses fingers* And thank goodness for writing full account number on my checks I'd paid w/ in the past so that I could find the confirmation numers for my phone account.
In other news, it's always lovely when someone cuts open a box at the bottom when said box has a cardboard cutout place to remove for "dispenser" action (think like saran wrap or something). Thankfully we had one strip of box tape left so I could repair it.
Reminds me, really need to return those zappos shoes before the end of the week since the end of my 365 return period is the middle of next month. Yes, I live within four blocks of two post office locations, but I'm lazy and there's ALWAYS a line. I'll also get to see exactly how much pain my new rent amount causes me when I pay my bills this weekend. Fun...not.
but no mind fog or pain inducing funk today, so that's a plus. And netflix -- more 4400 and Ncis! *squees a little* Sigh, this coming winter and stuff will probably be like my "training" of being an adult and not watching every tv show i think i'll be interested in. It'll probably be hard enough to catch the ones that I'm committed to following -- especially if supernatural is at 8pm instead of 9 this year. Ah well, at least w/ second season shows I'm reasonably assured of quick dvd releases. Unless it's cbs, but that's another matter.
And i didn't have a sandwich for lunch. Been getting bored of them as well as slightly scared of the TJ croissants since the consistency of the bread has changed somewhat. Seems to be a few more ingredients that usual -- none really trigger my worries, but it's possible that they downgraded to something cheaper than cane sugar or aren't using pure butter anymore. I know, i know, i have a bread machine, i just have to use it:P
