I don't like my apartment's birthday gift

so as of yesterday, the sewer gas came back. I'm fairly certain they never fixed it last week and it just disappeared because all my neighbors were out of town (bet they came back to some sweet smells). The bleach does help, but I think I'm not going to use it this morning if I can help it so that if the maintenance does come in, they won't think it's a figment of my imagination. We'll see if I can make it through getting ready.

Yesterday was lazy lazy lazy day after going to grocery store to get food. No laundry. Talked myself out of the gym. Watched Constantine after watching tennis (nadal and federer are still not as enjoyable to watch as agassi and sampras playing anyone. Dunno why). Got bit by scene bunny that so far has no where to go. Argued with muse. Annoyed mona about it. ;) and then passed out on the futon.

Today should be fun...not. Have to go get my driver's license renewed (which I couldn't do for the past month because I kept having to get to work to attempt to talk to my boss). And then we'll see how painful the birthday party with the lab is...there will be some disappointed folks as I decided to not bake brownies last night since my boss was going to buy cookies and fruit. Didn't want to look like I was rejecting that or anything. And then a talk after that that I really should go to, so relatively late night. :(

Dang, still need to decide how much I can afford to send in in tax money this month.

The day that the DMV doesn't do tests is definitely the day to go renew your license. I had a brief scare that I'd forgotten my checkbook and would have to get a money order before the clerk reminded me I'd already sent in a check and was just there to get a photo. *rolls eyes* Yes, I'm blonde. 10 minutes later, I was done! Off to work now after eating lunch.

I'm very tired so I doubt that tonight I'll be on any chats or replying to the birthday wishes I haven't got to -- will do soon though.

Overall good day. And I realized tonight that it was the first birthday in a long time that I wasn't highly stressed/agitated/angry over something. Almost forgot what it felt like.
