Done, done, done. Gloriously done. Even managed to eke out the last scene after it came to me last night. Was kinda a cop-out, but it worked well, I think.

Loa in Las Vegas is officially sent off to the betas and I forsee much red and asking me if I completely forgot how to write. Really.

On the other hand, the frog should be overjoyed when I return it to the freedom of space:):) LOL!!!!

Still, for once I finished a story based on a fic prompt given to me by someone else. It's a first!!!

Heh, [livejournal.com profile] poisontaster and the rest of my flist are slowly dragging every pretty-boy appreciator into the fandom of Supernatural, kicking and screaming. [livejournal.com profile] inlovewithnight has been our latest victim and this story shows why it is such a coup for us to get her.

Glory Days, written to the prompt I gave her for Bruce Springsteen and Dean:) hey, she kept saying how she bet Dean was a Springsteen fan so I just made her write the bunny she'd been teasing me with!:)

The result is fantastic. And completely our broken Dean. Go forth and read and encourage the bunnies.

I'm in need of fanfic today to clear my brain for some reason..so I went looking on crackvan and thought I'd let my fellow supernatural genfic fans know something. Tommygirl is reccing this month and has stated unequivocally that her recs will be gen or het based.

Lest anyone besides the GI fellow in the lab doubt me that acetominophen can have anti-coagulant effects.

It's not just New Orleans, folks.

Poison Water in Appalachia

They've been trying to get bids to lay water lines for over two years, but every time, the bids have been deemed "over". As a result, residents are limited to the random 12-24 gallons delived weekly for their drinking and cooking. It's not enough to bathe, so they have to use the water despite the fact that water contaminated with heavy metals causes rashes.

Where's superfund? The EPA? You can't tell me that the levels in their water supply are safe (even with the "new" definition of safe given by Bush-ists).
