In other news, I think I've just made my day very very long. Which is fine -- crap tv tonight for the most part and I do need to work on my presentation. *crosses fingers that people leave by 5 so i can think!*

Ummm...yeah, not much else to say. Other than I hope that I never experience an ambulance driver hitting the siren next to my ear again. I believe it was the equivalent of a "honk at pretty girl" but more annoying (scared the shit out of me) since it went off immediately and there was no intersection or anything. B disagrees since he says it's just as loud in the van. *rolls eyes* Obviously someone whose never experienced the fun of walking home repeatedly through this city during the summer traffic jams when guys are assholes.

Okie, I've goofed off enough for one week. Time to turn back into dedicated student and all that jazz.

Saw this via astrogirl that the mod really needs some more victims volunteers to make the assignment process easier. Given my experience running uncharted elves and then also my addiction to crossovers, I succumbed and signed up. Wish me luck that my muse works better with a deadline this time. Something tells me I'm going to regret this.

I can almost leave work! And it was a relatively productive day today. Have to come in over the weekend for timepoints, but I need to do that anyways for the sake of getting my presentation done -- all my data is here and well, we all know how badly I suck at getting true work done at home. The TV/golf/something would call my name and distract me.

Sweet Charity is closed!! Thanks to those who bid on me and contributed to the wopping final total of $2773.10!!!! I'm amazed, truly and totally amazed.

Read through the last couple of scenes from Loa in Las Vegas that I'd finished and doh!!! I'm embarrassed that I sent them to betas now. Adverbs, adverbs everywhere!!!
