Finally cleaned it up and posted it to joss100. Had previously posted the nonclean version to frogs_fics, so some of you might have missed it the first time around. This was actually written first and then mona1347 refused to quit pestering me about why Book left Serenity in the first place which resulted in Rain that I posted yesterday.

This federal legislation would raze hundreds of state laws that ensure patients can get the medical care they need and would not allow women to designate their ob/gyns as primary care providers.

• not allow women to seek care directly from their ob/gyns, but would force them to be screened by their primary care doctors first


• dismantle coverage for contraception


• dismantle coverage for annual cervical cancer exams


• not allow women to stay with the same doctor throughout a pregnancy, if that doctor was dropped from the insurance provider

My only theory is that the heater at the apartment is broken. Broken broken. Because it blasts out heat for a couple of hours at night before going back to nil by morning. Which dude, if it's on purpose, I wish someone had figured it out like three years ago. Either way it's odd. But winter is almost over and it'll be all good for a few months.

At work however, the heater is definitely broken. The air flow in the new lab has been funky ever since we moved in --- air moves, but it's boiling hot air that is even hard to breathe. Not conducive at all to wearing lab coats like one should when dealing with DNA and human cells (we'll ignore the fact that I don't at all since none of them fit me and the cuffs insist on always knocking the most important samples over). We thought it had been fixed-ish last week since the last four days we've actually been able to wear long sleeved clothing without feeling like we were about to have heat stroke.

Not so.

Hotter than ever today. It seriously feels like a very dry sauna. Uuuuuugggh.

Can I just say that there are few things in this world less uncomfortable than hands sweating in latex gloves. Except, well, hands sweating in nitrile gloves.

Add to that the fact that sweated in gloves are comfortable to rewear and I only have another box left before I'm completely out of my size (and no, the gloves of everyone else in the lab do not fit. Teeny tiny hands here. Ask mona and pt), and this heat is not being conducive to me being able to do experiments next week. Good thing I'd already planned for an off weekend. Hopefully my gloves come in tomorrow or monday.

Oh mona, we might be getting even BLUE-ER hands of blue gloves;) LOL. If we do, you'll get a pair. Hope yours are holding up.

SN bunny has continued to grow within my head today. And muse is actually acting interested in it. *crosses fingers that I can finish it this weekend when I start it. Or at least finish a lot of it*
