Whee, I'm back and in the process of doing the windows updates again.

The scenes are there. The words just won't transfer to my hands.

and this isn't just for any one story, rather for every single frickin one. I think of it, the muse plays a scene and then sits back with a cigarrette and laughs as my fingers are able to do nothing.

gaaaaaaaaahhhh.

Probably not writer's block. More just seriously out of practice after not writing for a bit and then not being able to write anything of length because I didn't have my bookmarks, my story files, and all that. And no, seeing it on lj isn't the same because I know I'll end up having a question on something that would be answered by my bookmarks and waste countless hours finding it before I can continue. Because my brain is evil like that.

Yes, the Jayne desktop had other motives. That my muse is most pointedly not paying attention to.

I think my brain needs a zero fill because these scenes are starting to behave like an ear-bug. And the more they play, I know the more I'll dislike whatever I write because it will fail to capture what I hear in my head. It's times like these that I need pet actors in front of me.

BTW, inlovewithnight, if you could just have your muse braindump everything about voice, characteristics, and motivations for the CSI crew into my muse, I'd much appreciate it. Stupid evil plot bunny that refuses to let go.
