Very Important lesson
Jan. 8th, 2006 11:02 amdo not allow cooked cream of wheat to sit for over an hour in the microwave. Ooy!
In my defense, I woke up with a raging headache that only got worse when I was vertical. And since I drank the last of my tea yesterday and can't take an excedrin until several hours after my allegra has been ingested (damn corn starch), remaining vertical for the three minutes while it cooked was next to impossible. I did get up at the appropriate time to stir once, but then laid down again. And the open window had caused the room to become actually sleepable, so it's understandable that I might have dozed.
End result was slight poingy cement. Ah well, easy enough to make another bowl.
Now I'm going to run out with a hat covering my bed-head hairstyle and buy some tea. And I might as well get more yogurt since I'm almost out. I'm tempted to go several blocks out of my way to buy a cup of coffee, but I doubt I have that much motivation. Though...I suppose I could go down to staples(no, I still haven't fixed my modem problem), get the coffee on the way back, and then TJs. Of course, that all assumes that my bowl of cream of wheat stays in my tummy that long. *siiiigh* Occassionally I do miss having a car to jump in and do errands in. Though they don't make errands any shorter up here. Still.
But before I do anything, better wash the face and brush the teeth.
This post is brought to you by boredom and an excessive avoidance of doing dishes.
In other news, I did have a pain-induced delirious dream that I somehow discovered a whole bunch of really cool icons to use that I hadn't recalled uploading. Course, now I can't remember what the images were, I just know they were incredibly GIPy
