Well so much for waking up early and folding the laundry I didn't get to last night. Oh well, the potential buyer will just think I'm a slob. I do have to "hide" my bills and then also finish the dishes and clean up the kitchen sink. That'll do it for me. Slobbo is now leaving the building.

I will need to buy more draino tonight. Kitchen sink is probably due. Bathroom sink is still ungodly slow though it is draining, which is an improvement over the weekend. I used two bottles on sunday, but I made the mistake of seeing if the draino foaming pipe snake would work with standing water. Here's a tip: NO.

Must get in before 11ish. I signed up to go to lunch w/ the speaker at noon..and well, it would just look really bad to show up, make my sandwich and then leave. And it looks like B and I will be going out to a movie and stuff tonight, so I don't have to a) worry about walking home in the 16 degrees that is predicted and b) I'm not tempted to go home when they are showing my place. Oh, I did pick up my certified mail yesterday (huge booklet about the condos. And when I say huge, I mean like 5lbs) and it had letter confirming that I can stay till the end of my lease. So that much is settled.

I did search out last night and bought an adsl wireless router from amazon. A lot more than I wanted to pay, but at least w/ amazon I can return it if needbe. And it was cheaper than what was available from best buy and about equivalent of what it would have cost if I'd found out that I had to replace both the modem and the wireless router. *shrugs* Plus geez, fewer cords!!!!!!! Praise be!! And I was pissy because verizon didn't have their website setup where I could actually see what they were charging for their modems. May call in today to compare the prices just in case though.

Okay...so some days during winter, I do actually enjoy my sauna of an apartment. LIke those days that the temp outside doesn't raise above 20 degrees. Gaaaahhhh!! I hate the cold and it hates me. Course, this caused a mini-fight between me and B when we came out of the movie theater a bit earlier---I have this thing that at certain temps, my body starts doing the hypothermia shakes even though there's no reason for it. And no matter how much you yell at me because you think I'm chattering my teeth and being spastic for attention, it stops when it stops. I think it has something to do with sitting immobile and then hitting frigid air. Trust me, I'd stop it if I could because it's not comfortable to have every muscle in your body trying to contract at the same time. It hurts!! After I got that through to him, he shut up. We go through this every winter; someday he'll remember. But he's not the only one that yells at me for it -- parents do too. Guess I need to set up a video camera to prove that it happens when I'm alone.

Anyways, productive-ish day today. The lunch w/ the afternoon's talk speaker was a waste of time and caused me to miss two good symposiums I could have gone too. But the guy's talk later in the afternoon was informative. So that's something. The antibody came in, praise be! And I saw Narnia w/ B. My reactions pretty much echo everyone else's but I did like it overall. I never read the books persay, but rather they were read outloud to me in the 2nd grade or something. So familiar w/ the story but didn't remember it much. Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang still has my vote for best movie of the year though.

And home now. And tummy full of warm tomato soup. And I'm going to fall into bed now after I brush my teeth and slather on some aloe on my face to counter the wind burn I have going on.
