coincidence? I think not.

Okay...this is really wierd. Every night since I got the notice that the building had been bought out by the condo apartment, the hot water at night has either been tepid or just not there.

Which, yes, the hot water has been known to go out on occassion. But you have to understand, the hot water is never LESS than scalding unless it's out. So this morning's miraculous recovery after the maintenance man came makes me suspicious now that it took 10 minutes for the water to get to tepid while I was washing dishes.

I think that they have started turning off the boiler at night to save money---which would suck for anyone who works nights. Though honestly, I'd be appreciative if they did it in the winter at least so my apartment was cooler (though the ice water would be bad).

Curious and curiouser.

Hunts down weather man

Uggghhh....hopefully tomorrow won't be as bad as I think it might. I have a nice fun migraine coming on thanks to the weather making my sinuses expand while my blood pressure seems to feel like it should join in on the ballgame. I hope that I manage to sleep through the worst of it.

Weekend was very boring with not much accomplished. Laundry was done but that was about it. Avoided pretty much everything else, aided by watching the semifinals and finals of the US Open. Oh, and two more discs of Carnivale.

So weekend was pretty much a wash. And the bread I baked for my boss's birthday decided to collapse just as it was baking...so it doesn't look pretty at all. Seems to taste okay though....Siigh, I'll decide tomorrow whether I'll feel embarrassed about taking it or not.
