uggh, I am still addicted

to reading novels. I mean, I know...I have the problem w/ reading in general, but sense I hadn't read a novel (let alone a shortish easy read) in about half a year, I thought that ya know, it wasn't as bad as it was. But no, just devoured decent sized crime novel in 4 hrs straight. W/ no food which my head is not so gently reminding me was a bad idea given that I'd just exited my 2d pms phase of "not being hungry". Even after eating a porkchop my head still hurts and my hands are pretty damn shaky.

Book was...well I can see flaws in it, but overall it was good. I'll post a better review later. But yeah...Hammered will not get picked up to be finished until I do everything I need to tomorrow night cause while I'm trying to savor it and read it with a discerning eye, I know I'll give in after I finish more than a quarter of it and gulp it down.

Anyone got methadone for a reading habit yet? And don't tell me fanfic..that's just watered down heroin for me.

cassiee, I will mail Persian Boy this weekend to you and I think I'll include the novel I just finished as well.

LOL...Okay, my lj addiction has definitely hit critical mass --- it takes long minutes of agonizing pain now as I choose which icon to delete to upload a new one. I blame the icon makers, they've just been putting way too much quality product out there lately:P

Anyway, lookie at my new default icon:) LJ anniversary gift of sorts from cassiee and large inside joke. Great job cassiee's part as usual....of course now all weekend I'll have to wrestle with whether I need to drag yosaff out of a box to play with to reward my brilliant icon making goddess....guess we'll see if the muse bites yet on the next portion of camo that I've been chewing on for the past couple of weeks. As usual, it wants to skip ahead to the action now that I'm in the middle of the story. Siighs, I gotta get that baby trained someday.

Gaaahhh....of course, I mention bringing the yosaff muse back out and River goes and gets all uppity. I know she's just upset cause Camouflage hasn't focused exclusively on her and she doesn't know how to deal w/ that. Man, at this rate, I'll never get back to doing the sequel for Preacher's Prayer just because my female muses won't let the males get a word in edge wise. It's no wonder that I can't get a friggin farscape story started!!!

I can only pray that as i flesh out original ideas, they eat my brain just as much. *shakes a fist at River*. However, inlovewithnight will be pleased to know that the AU River plotbunny has not died completely...though it seems to be mutating a touch.

*looks around pit* First, dinner! Appetite is back and angry at me. Then, cleaning. No reading, no writing, no nothing, computer off, cleaning will occur dammit!
*shows skewers to any uppity bunnies* "haven't had shish-kababobs in a long time, so just try me fuzzies".
