Huh...I've been anticipating this day for a while now, but didn't bother to try to compose something witty and thoughtful. I blame it on losing my brain when I heard there were sneak peaks of serenity and then realizing I would not be able to attend one.
Anyway, today is my one year lj anniversary----*hands out the party hats to those not going to a Serenity screening*

neroli66, and I to have gotten the account first. Which is wierd cause I don't really remember the events that spawned the account in the first place...just the first few months of nervous posts before I gave up and began to tell you guys everything about my life except for what I ate for lunch and the color of my underwear.
I've been in cyberspace in some form or format for over 10 years now. I have to say, that of all the cyber communities/chats/rooms, I've enjoyed lj the most. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a part of fandom so that there is something to bond over easily or if it's the quality of people I've managed to bump into. Maybe a little bit of both. I've developed friendships with a lot of cool and very giving people, been entertained by several talented ones, and have had the pleasure of bumping into those from whom I've learned a lot. Not to mention the several of you that helped me hold my sanity by that very slender thread for a while there this past year.
So thanks to all of you that have posted, commented, and friended me this past year. Without you there wouldn't be anything to commemorate on this day (okay, well except for Cinco de Mayo and the Serenity Screening).
