Okay that was weird

So this morning as I was waking up...I was convinced it was monday and that for some reason I was late. Granted, I did want to wake up early and such today but still, I don't know why my head got the idea that it was monday!

On the other hand the idea that it was monday was not accompanied by its normal soul-tearing dread either;) And I have actually awoken two days in a row befor 8am when I didn't necessarily need to. Stupid stuff I know, but it's the first time in YEARS. At least three years anyways.

Course, I know I'm going to feel horribly guilty at 12:30 on Wed when I'm not in hell but brian is.

Well, really haven't done too much today other than wake up early, but man, ready for a nap now!! Laundry's done just have to put it up. Should pick my place up some more, but we'll see what happens.

Had a great lunch today at the stacey-friendly restaurant. Resisted getting the bbq pulled pork sandwich as my tummy has only had a week of no problems since the stupid cold medicine. Plus better to try something like that out when I'm going home immediately. Then did routine shopping and returned a shirt. Not too much biggee.

Highlight of the day: Going to the "old" lab so I could box up the papers that I may need should the master's option ever be forced upon me later on down the road. Actually probably tossed about half of what I had in my desk and such since in Youhai's lab I've actually worked on about 3 projects beyond what my actual thesis projects were there. *shakes fist* Of course, his habit of talking to anyone but me continues --- he was at work yesterday and asked Brian when I was leaving for sure cause he didn't know. Which is a lie cause I told him on friday that I'd be starting next week but still back and forth between the labs. Auugh. Oh well.

Reminds me, need to send out emails to profs apprising them of the situation. But it tires my brain out every time I think of doing it. Probably put it off till sometime tomorrow.

And yumm....I need to find some good chips or crackers. Bought this soft cheese that is flavored w/ garlic and onion and it's sooo good (this is coming from the woman who hasn't had any chip dip other than high grade salsa in 5 yrs!). Sadly..not much calcium, but it's not too fatty either so i guess it's win-win. *drools*
