First things first:

Happy Birthday Shrift

Next, it's good to be home:) Back to really actually fast wireless internet connection and my own messy ass apt....which I'd rather it clean itself but it's nice to be back in one's own mess ya know? And the warm air outside here in philly in Jan isn't too bad either. This is two years in a row I've returned from xmas travels to find the temps in Philly over 60. Course, i missed the beautiful parts earlier this week, but hey, after freezing my ass off in Chicago the past two days I'll take what I can get!!

In other news: )

Okay...more good:) Christmas cards and gift magazine subscriptions in the mail to greet me. Even better, I made it to the grocery store and back before it started raining:)

Now then...If I could only start not walking like a robot -- worked out for first time if forever on Friday and included a little bit of leg stuff. Quads aren't happy and are spontaneously freezing on me. Only good news is I didn't hit my hamstrings at all.....otherwise, I'd have had to wheel through airport in a wheelchair.

And I went off and left the coffee filter in the coffee pot 2 weeks ago...so smell of vinegar is throughout the apartment as I clean it.

*waves fist at bunnies*

Seriously....bunnies shouldn't be tantalizing and then disappear w/ no trace. Sigh. 35 pages and a bit over 15,000 words and I'm still not entirely happy with Camouflage nor entirely sure of the path it will take. [livejournal.com profile] cassiee, I blame you:P

Okay, Okay....got a tad written during break but spent a lot of time trying to figure out what to do for the challenge over on the Official to kick things off. And nothing....till about ten minutes ago. What's worse, is it has dialogue. Now I have nothing against dialogue...except I don't do dialogue drabbles. *whimpers*

so....surprise of 2005 (assuming you know, that Alan or Nathan never show up on my doorstep), NBC's new show Medium isn't actually half bad (that or my standards have been lowered by a vacation full of my parents watching reality TV and Judge Joe Brown). Their commercial's for it made the show seem incredibly cheesy and contrived, but the pilot was actually decent. Very X-File-ish in showing the disblief and such and how the psychic deals w/ it. Will be interested to see it on next monday...the preview looked cute. Oh, and they are airing another episode on thursday as well. And the acting is better than CSI Miami:P

So did anyone miss my multiple posts in one day on their flists? Or do I need to tie my hands together?
