so my flist is all asleep or industriously employed right now:(:(

I'm bored and too headachy to clean off bed to go to sleep.

Stupid head....worried that excedrin upset my tummy last week which means I'll be back to suffering the pain except for occassional asprin at work. Stupid body.

off to finish hot chocolate...here's hoping the vitamin d coated with corn oil doesn't make the headache worse (aka the possible conspirator w/ the excedrin last week).

Ugggghhh....I suck at making banners. Just takes way too much patience. I know, I complain about it alot. But it doesn't happen as seemingly instantaneously as writing a story does. sure if i think about it, writing takes as much time.....but it looks presentable while your doing it...instead of looking like gose.

But managed to finish one thing off of my list today. So I guess I'd better eat lunch and get in shower.:)

New experiences

Just had dinner w/ brian as part of his xmas gift. Very good dinner. The Stacey Friendly grill did everything right this time even on his food, so no complaints. :)

However, had interesting dinner conversation:) He'd asked me about the story I'd mentioned writing....which meant I got to explain the idea of non-cannon ships to him!! He didn't react badly or anything, was just surprised that fans would want to see things that he views as being totally counter to the character from the series/show. But he got it mostly. However, during the conversation, I just started picturing what his reaction would be if I mentioned slash fic. Somehow I think that would not recieve the same response! Not that he's biased or anything (other than simply finding the idea of liking a man himself to be totally repulsive among other things), but I think he would have problems with the idea...and the fact that people spend time reading it and so many spend time thinking about it. Not really a slasher myself although I find the stories entertaining from time to time. But just the idea of explaining slash fanfic to someone who doesn't really participate in fanfic (other than reading my stuff when I beg and harrass enough) kinda cracked me up.

So yeah, that's it. Very boring day. Have almost beat my video game:) Almost. At least on the dark side..probably wait till I get back from vacation to try it from the light side. So far think the first one was better.

Oh, and Brian loved the Office dvds i got him. He's only watched one so far, but loves it. :) yeah me:) And I managed to keep it a secret and not drop hints for an entire month!!!
