The Strawberries (formally the shiny's)

Howdy Browncoats! I bring a message of fun and Serenity. Well, not the movie but the ship;)

After receiving multiple requests from individuals for fanfic recs within the firefly fandom, I consulted with the great Goddess Neroli and her pupil Cassie E. We decided to found a fanfiction award for our great fandom henceforth known as The Strawberries: The Bluesun Awards for Firefly Fanfiction (or for short: The BSA Strawberries).

We're still in the planning phase right now and wish to recruit a few more interested individuals as judges --- especially looking for some nonwriters so we can avoid any taint of partiality. The link to our site is below in my signature (alternatively, message one of us three).

We'll announce when we're ready to receive story nominations (probably a couple of weeks) so visit the site and familiarize yourselves with the categories. We plan to accept 2 nominations per category per person. So start narrowing down your faves 

The details are on the site below including our planned judging process (which will be followed by a fandom wide vote among selected finalists for the winners). Haken has agreed to post the winners as a feature!! :) So the story you help select could be the first thing a new convert clicks on when they come here!
