Okay:):) this has made my day!!! Just heard from the head of the lab I want to go to -- while she doesn't have everything worked out, she thinks that from who she's been able to talk to that "there should be no obstacle to taking me on"!!! *dances*

'Course, now she's away till friday, but hey, I can live w/ it:)
Ohhh, that is such a huge weight off of my shoulders!!! Thanks to everyone whose been crossing fingers and toes (and making sacrifices) for me --- you can probably unkink your toes now at least:):)
