Still sick --- really felt like crap this morning...after breakfast and coffee I can breathe again. Gonna see how I feel after a shower to see if I'm actually going to go to work today. ETA...well at least the nosebleed happened before I left for work. On second thought, definitely staying home since it's also cooler outside today than it has been recently. Cause it really is uncomfortable being stared at in the lab bay as I try to get my nose to understand that it shouldn't run red. I hate my sinuses, I do.

However, I do have some good news to share ---- the professor whose lab I REALLY want to transfer to emailed me yesterday to let me know she's not ignoring me (I'd worried that she was currently at a conference or something when I didn't hear anything back for a day), she just has to track down the head of the program to discuss funding. She hopes that everything will be worked out so I can join her lab though *dances the snoopy dance* So keep crossing those fingers and making those virgin sacrifices for me, okay??:)
