It always seems like you've written more when you judge by the page rather than the word count. Oh well, 1000 words today isn't too shabby considering how fickle and absent the muse has been lately. Now if I could only pinpoint what I did differently so I could learn a way to call her to me....could be I just need to name her....course, could drive her away if I name her the wrong thing I suppose.
cassiee actually made an icon for a blend challenge w/ Camouflage in mind...so I'll have an icon to use for future posts w/ it;) *hugs

Really, everyone's feedback has been a tremendous help in breaking the writer's block I had. It helped that I was actually in the mood that I wanted to write, but hearing everyone say they enjoyed the story helped. :) Just a gentle prod, even hearing it was good is sometimes all the feedback a writer's ego needs. Critical feedback is nice when it appears, but we really just hope that everyone enjoys the story.
Now then...if I could only find a way to keep Mal, River, John and Aeryn from arguing in my head, I might actually be able to accomplish things in a timely fashion. Fortunately no truely persistent farscape bunnies thus far, but the characters are certainly bickering enough. Siiiigh...if I never manage to write anything original it will be because fandom ate my brain. Really, I'm thinking of renaming the previous four Huey, Duey, Harvey, and Louey. ;) LOL.
Okay...must do laundry or I'll have no socks to wear. Also, must buy new "weather" shoes since my ankles and knees have started acting up in tandem. Still, I guess 2 winters for 100 bucks isn't back --- go zappos.com!
Oh..and as usual, I accomplished nothing that needed to be done in real life this weekend --- taxes continue to mock me, obviously the laundry sat around unwashed, apt still just as messy...heck, I didn't even cook all weekend which means I must tonite. Chanced 1week+ old roast for lunch...which is fine since it's been in fridge since I've cooked it and never reheated, but I'm generally very conservative when it comes to meat age. Hee...my brain is doing weird things tonite. I think it's still in shock from writing today.
