Yeah...so my legs are being really bitchy. For once it's not my joints but rather my muscles...which sucks since I've been stretching and being careful about how I do it. Thing the hamstring one is from when I almost slipped on black ice..just taking a while to heal. But this morning my achilles tendon was bothering me badly on the other leg for no reason. Which since I have the highest arches known to man freaks me out to no end because I know I really need orthotic insoles cause I can't find anything that begins to help at the stores. But I know it would be way to expensive time consuming to do in the health system here so I'm trying to put it off in hopes I can wait till summer and go to the foot doctor back in OK. I really don't want to blow out a tendon though.
Siigh, me thinks I really need to face facts and ante up money for the expensive gym near me. i've proven I won't hike across town to do it reliably and the one here sucks ass in my building and I need decent leg machines since I HATE AND LOATHE cardio that is not involved in a game. And in no way am I in shape enough to hunt for a rec soccer league. Only good thing is I can not feel as guilty about it since I paid my humongous credit card debt down to below 3000 today *whoot!*
*prays body won't completely fall apart till I'm 30*

Date: 2005-03-09 04:54 pm (UTC)Mike walks all day at work and is on his feet and had high arches till they fell and cause him tons of pain.. So, we finally found a solution which doesnt cost a fortune..
go to walmart.. and buy either some Dr. Scholl's Nurse shoes or some of thier tennis shoes and then stick some of those stupid "Im Gellin" Dr. Scholl's gel insoles in em.. will cost you about 30 bucks or so..
might not make you make it till 30, but it might save your feet for a while longer till you can get those lovely orthopods to look at em.

Date: 2005-03-12 03:10 pm (UTC)I was dumb to ignore the foot doctor when I was 14 and being told I needed the inserts. Just then my feet didn't hurt and I still remembered how hard it was to find shoes that fit them since it had only been several years since I'd cracked the gristle in my heels and had to wear inserts for that.
