jebbypalOr was completely stoned while writing and filming the preque II and III. Holy crap. I know I gave up on watching them after I sat through the first prequel in the theaters when it came out, but I never realized how much I'd never seen II and III before. I caught various parts on the SPIKE marathon this weekend, and crap. For II, I kept watching because Ewan McGreggor, and I kept thinking "it's got to get better in the next scene, right?" WRONG. I turned it off before the end. And then today I caught about 20 minutes of ep III, except I wouldn't have realized it was ep III except the hairstyles of the men had changed.
Seriously, ep II and III were like advertisements for why corporal punishment was needed for padawans. Because clearly Obi Wan's foot never met Anakin's ass. Or at least not enough.
Wow.
After that little bit of torture (as well as too much of a Coalminer's Daughter...geez, country is depressing), I decided I needed some action movie. Expendables II was on Amazon for rent, and the first one was fun, so I thought I couldn't go wrong, right?
WRONG!!! I'm glad the guys can laugh at themselves, but that seemed like a huge budget for a satire action movie. For real. I also don't even want to think about the amount of makeup necessary to make Chuck Norris not look 150 years old. Guh.
