So that's it?? That's all? That was a disappointing episode of House. I'd really thought that the writer's had gotten past this completely one dimensional and flat story telling. Sorry, just watching a guy go through detox pains while the students torture yet another patient and family isn't interesting....which the whole torture the patient and family got old about the third time they did it too. Come on!! There's gotta be something more creative you can do w/ this really.

Made me really miss the shield and want more episodes. I swear, that show is like crack...after you stop watching it, everything on network tv seems like it's going way too slow w/ way too little content. Siiiiggggghh.

I was disappointed too. That scene with Wilson and House, though...wow. RSL and HL brought their A-games. And when Wilson walked out, and House realized he may have alienated the last person he has...gah.

But that was what, three minutes out of the hour? Boo.

This was the net-bit larger, clearer, and with an intro and a coda, at least. Still. THREE MINUTES.

Chase is the only one of the Ducklings I can stand. The girl redeemed herself a little bit this week (and why can't I remember her name?), but Foreman is an ass and always will be. Though having the guts to stand up to House...good for him, I suppose, but he just BOTHERS me.

I dunno, I don't think he was really standing up to house so much as tempting him to fall so that he could prove he was better than house. I mean he is the guy that's been claiming house was an addict since almost day 1 (assuming foreman is the black guy). I mean really, House can't be the only doctor in the entire buidling that can diagnose something right?? And surely these three wonderkids could figure something out.

I dunno....it's just House's personality, I figure he would resent being dependent on the drugs w/ how he resents his disability. And I'm disappointed that the writers couldn't manage to show both his need and the resentment once he realized he actually had a problem. Instead they made it all about showing the head woman up and getting his time off from clinic.

And yeah, the girl student is a twit. Way too stereotypical must please the authority figure woman. As much as the head woman can be grating, she at least has 'tude.

I wanna know though, can we get through one episode w/out Chase mentioning again how rich kids do drugs too??? I swear, every episode w/ a teen in it goes the same "did you do drugs" asks chase. "the kid doesn't fit the profile," defends foreman. "even rich well adjusted kids can do drugs dumbo," chase replies, "i'm proof positive". Please the authority figure girl tries to get the parent back into giving the family history.

Foreman's the black guy, Chase is the one with the accent, and I can't remember the girl's name.
