Dear universe - not now...

jebbypalI think i'm trying to get sick. It would explain my inability to stay awake on the recliner past 9pm and overall moodiness this week (though, now i know part of last week's rage was pms). Well, hopefully it will either hit in force before I fly on Sunday, or wait until Monday. Hopefully. My neck acted like it wanted to be out for a short while this morning too... :P
I still need to do the family photo crap. Gah. I hate time consuming stuff like that online.
Work eased up a tad, or rather hormones eased up enough that I'm back in my "just do my job" zen. And I got a little break from the neverending supplement which was good, though it took me a little while to transition back to slide making since it's been so long that i've actually created original slides based on entirely new data. Not to mention, first time trying to limit myself to the amount that fits w/in 15 minutes. In case you hadn't noticed, brevity is not my strong suit.
Umm, other than that, nothing much. Beyond thrilled to see the promos for the new season of Justified and realize that it returns in January. I think the "summer in harlan" ficathon had me so in the time frame that I was convinced we had to wait until May or something. I'll be having a rewatch at home w/ my folks since I took the dvds down earlier in the month (my dad hasn't hooked the dvd player up to the hd tv yet though). Hopefully that will kick the muse into doing something (I failed once again at mininanomo. I think november is a cursed month for me between time and everything. That or I need to recognize that family frustration causes the muse to go into hiding).
Of course, I tend to handicap myself on that front too....Given how much time I spend on a computer, it's much easier to be passive when I come home from work to relax, which invariably leads me to getting into new fandoms. Case in point, was bored one day and watched some on demand reruns of the Mentalist (mid-s2 eps). I'd only ever seen like the 1st two when they premiered, and not even all of them as I was very dismissive of the premise (of course, I've been there and done that w/ a fandom too -- see Lie to Me obsession of last year).Of course, this time I've picked a fandom that doesn't streaming or even sell eps online, so i'm debating on actually purchasing s1, or waiting till the reruns recycle. Of course, tnt only does 2 a week. Of course, apparently it's just amazon and itunes does sell it...Hmmm, could buy and download to iphone...Hmmm. nope that was just the universe teasing me as it was just the soundtrack. *pouts*
