Well, though I still have work to do thanks to procrastinating during my work at home days, it does feel good to be home. And in a clean one at that :)
Next week will be interesting since our main client service person will be officially removed from most of our accounts following the client's blowup about him. \0/ Not a bad guy, but really really tired of the lackadaisacal approach to the work.
Finished the Unusuals. *pout* I thought I'd be prepared for it to be over since I knew it going in, but now I'm just sad. Anyone know any good fic for it? I'll need to rewatch a couple more times before having a chance in hell of writing anything for it.
The return of the USA summer shows isn't quite doing it for me yet. Which might be a good thing - too much tv has been going on methinks.
So after abortive conversation with N, I pretty much just ignored his return attempt. Sorry, but if email and phone conversations are going to indicate serious communication impasses, I don't think meeting in person is going to help.
On the other front, emails with S have continued and continued to be long-winded! Only worry on that front was what it would leave to talk about, but that was pretty much a non-issue when he called last night and we talked for over an hour. A few awkward pauses, but one of us would always pick it up. Enjoyable to talk to - some similarities in background, but a lot of differences too. Though I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the fact that he has the firefly boxed set, and yet still has one unaired ep that he hasn't watched yet.....Impressive self control, but wow! I feel like it's going to be my mission to remedy that. We're planning to meet up next Saturday, so I need to decide whether the sculpture park here in hamilton, or hanging out in the city is going to be more conducive...
but today, I actually need to cook something (and clean old food out of the refrigerator as the chili tasted off after I'd been gone for 5 days) and then tackle the work I ignored on thursday and friday. And ignore the frog in the back of my head that is trying to move around a bit.

Date: 2011-06-18 06:11 am (UTC)I am glad things with S are looking promising. Double plus that you guys have alot to talk about in email and phone! Plus FF love is always bonus points in my book. Cris didn't take to it really well, he's more of an action guy, but he loved Carnivale, Dexter, so it made up for it. :)
I hope your date goes well! *dances you*
