jebbypalOh wow, I was getting cranky there towards the end of the day. Then again, probably to be expected after a week of way too much science followed by 3 hours of intense interviews with the academics for the project.
I swear, this project will never find consensus nor stop eternally changing directions back and forth. If this is what pre-launch preparation is always like, methinks I'd prefer to be out of it somewhat.
That said, happy belated 1-year DW anniversary to me. And happy belated bd to cinco and LD.
France has continued to be interesting. Yesterday involved random come-on by rather persistent French guy towards the end of my day who really wouldn't leave until I agreed to take his number. Kthx, goodbye now. Followed by coming back to hotel to find the cleaning staff had decided to leave my window wide open even though the outdoor facade rennovations mean that there is scaffolding connected to the ground right outside my window. Fortunately, had a little bit of luck as everything, included my work laptop, was exactly where I left it. Still, so much looking forward to going home tomorrow to somewhere that there are not umpteen thousand rude people + oblivious tourists that seem to think they can walk through me or that it's my job to teleport out of the way
And am more than a little dreading the on and off of planes every other week for the rest of the month. Oh well, I'll try to put that out of my head for a few days.
I guess that's it - can't wait to get home and catch up on all the shows - I think I've managed to avoid all the spoilers.
