jebbypalThe boil advisory was finally lifted yesterday. \0/ I still feel like there was probably a conspiracy going on that my township was the last one, but sigh...Oh well. It's over for now.
Should have gone shopping last night but didn't, and thus must get myself out of the house here soon if I want something to eat other than pasta and crackers :P Of course, since I'm only home for 3 days in the next week, what to buy is another matter altogether.
Must clean this weekend. It will help if I actually put up my clean clothes in the dresser for once to make packing easier :P If I'm smart, I'll go ahead and use the time to transition to my winter clothes, but then again, that would probably jinx it and winter wouldn't start till Dec. Then again, that doesn't sound like a bad plan to me.
Need to probably poke around for some more books to download onto my ereader for the flight. Since I finished the 900 pg sequel to pillars of the earth this week. Yes, not smart planning, but then again, half my old shows on TV are boring me to death. I have a feeling I'm done with NCIS unless I watch it all at once (and I'm actually speaking to both versions). Hawaii 50 is kind of fun, but it's not appointment tv. House I like, but I'd rather tape and skip commercials. About the only thing that I don't want to miss is Stargate Universe (which again, i'd prefer to skip most of syfy's stupid commercials) and supernatural.
Huh. well, seems most of my flist is underwhelmed. I for one and overjoyed at this season. It's nice to see the characters change and I don't feel that they are acting OOC considering everything, well, except for Bobby not telling Dean, but *hand waves*
I guess for the most part my problem has been that the Dean I remember from s1 and s2 hadn't born much of a semblance to the dean in later seasons. But that's me. Still, I'm glad there's something I'm enjoying beyond my premium cable shows.
Still, I should just give up on the shows I don't love and try and see if I can't write something since the stories I'd love to read aren't magically appearing in any of my active fandoms.
