jebbypalDetroit's airport is vastly better than Newark's....or at least better than the evil terminal B that approximates a holding area for purgatory since the shops only sell magazines (no book to be had) and the center is taken up by a perfume store.)
Notes to fellow holiday passengers: If your purpose of loudly and continually complaining about how you missing your flight was the hired car's fault and not your own is to annoy the desk attendants into making sure that you are on the flight, please move closer to the desk so that your fellow passengers don't have to suffer the sound of your voice quite so much (no, i didn't get enough sleep last night. Why do you ask?)
Also, note to self, do not wear these waterproof, but stylish and comfie, boots on airplanes again. Just because you were fine walking around New Orleans, there is apparently a fine line at which blisters will threaten. :P
Typing with this bandaid on my thumb is challenging. The probably means I'll need to find a beta for anything I write in the next couple of weeks to make sure I catch all my typos.
Oh, one more complaint for the universe: is it really too much to ask for all sushi restaurants to carry normal soy sauce as well as low sodium sauce?
