jebbypalSo I woke up this morning and decided to go ahead and do the online checkin and boy am I glad I did. Found out my flight had been canceled and was rebooked on one 2 hrs later. So that saved me several hours of sitting in the airport (and meant an extra meal!)
When i got to the train station to go to the airport I arrived as the janitor proceeded to do OCD mopping with strong cleanser smell and so I got to wait for 30 minutes in the 40 degree temps outside so I wouldn't get a migraine.
Got to airport finally. Checked in, but at the wrong terminal so got to the other terminal. Finally made it through security and then noticed after sitting down (and taking an aleve as a headache had started) that none of the screens at the gate listed my flight that should be boarding in 20 minutes according to the ticket I just got....
Yep, you guessed it, flight is delayed by another 2 and half hrs. Must have been really shitty weather in montreal today or something.
Unfortunately, I think a lot of other flights have been affected as the terminal is PACKED and loud and despite the PBJ sandwich I just ate (and the aleve), I'm kind of wishing for a way to strike everyone mute. Fortunately the annoying Jersey tween girls moved away and stopped flirting with the guy old enouhg to be their dad. *shudders*
So, how's your friday? So much for me getting any Montreal sight-seeing in.
