Okay, that was a very good mid-season finale but I can't believe we have to wait till the new year for more now. (first person to suggest a ficathon of any sort gets beaten). But on the up side, we also know we have more coming in the summer since we've already been greenlit for another season.


First off, thank god they finally paid off Fiona's story line. Cause I was getting really sick of the way she was always waiting for Michael to change. I cheered at the end of the next to last ep where she said she was leaving and why.

And then we got Fiona backstory --- Brother and sisters, and loss, and YAY!! So if I ever do get around to writing a story about her backstory, now I actually have SOMETHING to work with!!!

Also, it suddenly made more sense why she hung around Miami so long no matter how angry she got a Mike. She'd left home fearing for her life. So where to go if she couldn't go home, plus she definitely understood where Michael was coming from with wanting to protect the people in his life.

So yay, the season definitely makes more sense now. Now I just have to remember Michael's covername so I can post that as the challenge this week since LJ being down meant that I couldn't post it before.

Also, ever notice how Michael has all sorts of different cover names but Sam always uses Finley? Discuss.

I was wandering around plaintively looking for BN fic, hopefully someone will take pity *g* I liked the ep - I also liked that it wasn't a cliffhanger cliffhanger, because another one like the s2 midway might have killed me o_0

Well, you have to figure Sam's taking the easy way out -- his typical cover name means he only has to remember the one. Additionally, it adds texture on the name within the Miami area -- "Hey, you ever heard of Chuck Finley?" "Oh man, THAT guy... yeah, you remember that two-faced bastard Juan? I heard Finley's the badass who ended up putting a bullet in his head."

Or something like that.
