....My dreams last night centered around watching Band of Brothers. *face palm* I have no clue.

Seriously, I would have loved a second season as much as the next fan, but I'm insanely grateful that the writers had the forethought to tie the entire season up in one nice bow a la so many BBC series. It's a complete entitiy, but with so many possibilities.

The comet thing is a complete red herring, unless Evan was born the same day, but unlikely. Or if any comet would suffice...

It was so amazing for the stars of the show to step back for up to five minutes and let Evan's story be the front one for so long. And Evan dancing with his other reality wife ---- and that causing her to break up with her husband (I'm fuzzy on if that was happening the same day or not...I thought it was, but the elevator convo where physicist dude was saying "I won't acknowledge you" may argue it was present day).

Not as many Travelers anymore...Huh...Weird that that might be the case given the increases in population --- to much chaos making it too hard to know what to change and so fewer get "picked" or "triggered"? Or the increase in ways to kill people combined with making it easier to detect someone "out of time" resulting in more Traveler's getting killed on Travels? I mean, I'm still in shock that 1920ish Olivia managed to fit in so well to the early 2000s and stuff. Also, what's the deal w/ the fact that Olivia comes forward in time and Dan goes back? I can see the benefit of going back to fix the timeline, but why the forward? Is it because she's the only Traveler left capable of mentoring him?

So many questions. Can't wait for the dvds to come out....fanfic....!! :)

Also, has any (american) series ended on a better final scene/shot??? Just wow.

*already misses show fiercely* Seriously, [livejournal.com profile] halcyon_shift - you so need to give a few more episodes a try. I declare Journeyman as better than Life. If nothing else, you can go in resolved to hate it in order to try to break my pimping streak. *evil laugh*

*sad sigh* I am SO writing letters to NBC (to try to get it renewed) and other networks (to try to get it picked up). I even tinkered together a letter from the future (http://kurukami.livejournal.com/273655.html)!

It was a perfect, eloquent, absolutely fantastic plot arc, that leaves me wanting more in a big way.

GAAAAH. STUPID SHORTSIGHTED NBC EXECUTIVES. *flails*

Journeyman was the best new show of the season. I really want to believe it might surface somewhere else, like on the USA network. I'm so glad there was some resolution - but also a world of possibilities still to explore. It was so smart, funny, real... as well as a little bit other-worldly. And the metaphors worked so well. I'm really going to miss this show if that was it.
