It's early. My brain is still befuddled with sleepiness. :) I'm definitely going to give it a shot, but at first I was greatly intrigued by the mention of Alexis Denisof doing the reading for the part that eventually went to Peter Coyote. Sorry for the confusion!
Basically it turned out that the comment made on CHUD wasn't actually made by Tim Minear, at least according to Whedonesque.
