Lawyers for Gtimo detainees are now allowed no access - written or verbal - to their clients. But you know, this is America so at least they have lawyers.
Mileage taxes to replace gas taxes?? Somewhere in my brain, this just strikes me as wrong. Then again, it may also make it so people drive less so it could be good for the environment. I guess it will all depend on the rate we're expected to pay. I mean, since I've gotten my car two months ago, I've already driven 1400 miles. If the rate is a penny a mile, YOUCH!
