via [livejournal.com profile] twistedchick, Six proposals to get New Orleans on it's feet from John Edwards

Also, a thought from her on the MSM coverage of democratic candidates:

I want to put an idea out there that I've run across in a few places and see what you've observed.

I'mseeing a lot of neoCon-slamming-Hillary and almost nothing about JohnEdwards online. And neoCon slamming other candidates. And what I'veheard is that this is a Rove strategy used before, not in a way I'dexpect: slam the candidate who looks *least* capable of gainingelection, so that it takes news space away from the stronger candidateand keeps the stronger person's message from getting out there.

Interesting theory. I think it has more to do with losing to Edwards being more acceptable than to the other two major candidates. Losing to a woman or a non-White male is just unacceptable.

i think its awesome that you're LJing about important real life stuff (and i wish i did that too), but i have a totally unrelated question and am unsure how to contact other LJ users in other ways, so i must ask in the comments of this very important and well-thought out post, do you know what happened to the strawberries website?
