My brain is firmly in writing mode...which is not good as I have tons of work. On the other hand, for the first time in months, time seems to be ticking along at the proper pace. And no, I don't mean day by day, but rather hours not passing too slow or fast. I'm not exactly sure what that bodes, but it feels slightly off kilter since everything had been seeming to move in 3-4x my speed to process it lately. Like I've suddenly turned off fast forward. I know it's normal, but it seems odd to be "waiting" to go to sleep instead of looking at the clock and realizing I need to get my ass to bed since it's midnight.
Now if I could just get some control over my timeclock so that I can begin to operate at the "normal" hours of the day instead of this wacked out night owl thing that my body has done since figuring out my allergies (prior, I'd conk out at 10:30 pm like a switch had been hit. And after most meals). I thought all you night owl people were just plain wierd until I experienced it myself. But my body would much prefer to be awake from 9/10 am till 1 am. Sadly, only a single self employed person can operate like that in this world methinks.
Next up is Twin Regrets and the supernatural story that
poisontaster wants and then I will again be free of sweet charity projects. Of course, finishing Twin Regrets is late by many months while I fought with Simon. And come next month, so will the second project. Ahh well. Me now knows that I suck at fulfilling writing requests in a prompt manner. This would be exactly why my only participation in holiday communities will be to mod
uncharted_elves (which is open for business BTW. Subtle pimp, I know).
