they actually sent someone to check the bathroom in response to my letter.

Repairman's note: "We checked out the smell that you've talked about and we found no smell."

Gee, swell, it's not like I didn't say it's there sometimes, not others. Generally not during the day when no one's home.

I feel like they are telling me this is in my head. So I threw a fit and took a nap. I guess now I have to tape the sound the pipes make when the smell does occur.

THIS IS SO FUCKING STUPID.

OMG, I would kill them! This ridiculous...I swear, I would've been unraveling by now and throwing things. They need to be beaten with a stick, damnit.

Umm, I was throwing things when I got home. Bag from riteaid against the door (and how glad am I that only the lid of the oatmeal cracked instead of the entire container imploding) and then the end of my belt as well -- with a satisfying chip in the cheap ass door to end. Then there was crying and confining myself to my bed until I fell asleep for fear that I would break something expensive (as I'm known to do with my tantrums. I like to hear things break).

I mean, it's just and odor so i should be able to deal, but I don't think it can be healthy and all that. I probably wouldn't be so TOed if it wasn't that they fixed it once before with no fracking problem not six months ago. But since every time anything about the building changes, we fire every single person on the maintenance staff, gaah.

Oh, these people have no clue how close to bad their life is about to get. I'm taping the sound. I'm going to see if I can call a plumber next week to see what they can tell me over the phone (if they will) and them I'm hitting them w/ the sound and the info.

If that doesn't do it, fuck being an adult. I'll call my dad and see whether he thinks having more people bitching at them will produce results or if I just need to hire the plumber myself and present everyone with a nice bill (which I'd do right now if I wasn't so convinced that the problem isn't with only my unit itself).

They haven't seen trouble till they've seen my parents' get their yelling on.
