yep, I'm pretty proud of myself...especially since I don't trust tech supports or the computer centers on campus further than I can throw them.

Had that been your problem previously? If best buy lost all your data then, they really didn't know what they were doing. the corrupted profile seems to be an easy fix so long as the cause isn't a virus or something. Methinks mine was cause by the ungentleness I used on sunday to disconnect a phone cord from my baby. I felt bad about it, but the stupid thing wouldn't let go.
